46TH WARD CANDIDATES FORUM AT 3750

46TH WARD CANDIDATES FORUM

GARDEN COURT

WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 20TH

7:30p – 9p

It may be the most influential city election in decades.  And one of the six above will represent us in City Hall —  James Cappleman, Angela Clay, Justin Kreindler, Marianne Lalonde, Jon-Robert McDowell, or Erika Wozniak Francis.

With the city facing major deficits, are increased taxes the only real option to fill the funding gap?   What are their plans to make our community safer?  How will they encourage a richer mix of shops and restaurants?  How would they maintain both the income diversity that distinguishes the 46th and encourage housing development?  Lawrence and Broadway is about to become one of the city’s hottest entertainment areas… can  our alderman spread those benefits throughout our neighborhood?

The actual questions they answer will come from you.  Drop your questions for the aldermanic candidates into the locked box in the mailroom by 7p, Feb. 18.   Your questions will be summarized into a short, distilled list and presented to the candidates at the forum.

Our neighbors in the buildings immediately north and south of us also have been invited.  We expect a big crowd so arrive early to get a seat.

OPEN TO THE ENTIRE 3750 COMMUNITY
